Yay youth tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay dancing with youth tomorrow!!!!!! We are practising for our disco because we are doing a performance!!!! We are going to be dancing for three youth sessions then the disco will be after the lessons yaya!!!!!!

Earthquake madness!!!!!!!!!!!

In Wellington this weekend has been having quite a lot of earthquakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We recently had a huge one at 5.09pm tonight it went on for more than a minute!!!! I was in the room on my own then suddenly a huge earthquake hit. I think it was 6.5 magnitude.I hope everyone in Wellington are safe and are feeling ok now.Pray that the earthquakes will stop soon!!!!!

Baby Jireh part2!!!!! Race to taste!!!!!!

Baby Jireh came to the movies today!!!!! We raised 400 and something dollars!!!!!!!!!! Baby Jireh is hopefully going to be learning to eat soon!!!!!
Baby Jireh has C.H.A.R.G.E Syndrome Which contributes to complications with her feeding,vision,heart,hearing and developmental growth.Her family and friends raised $50.000 to get x2 cochler implants so that she can hear.She also wears a contact in her left eye,has a heart mumur and absent balance nerves.Her family are pleased at her progress this far and look forward to seeing her eat!!!!!

Jireh Winiata has been fed via tube for the last two years,relying on milk for her growth.After not having sufficient weight gain at four days old,test results came back a week later to say everything was functioning properly however Jireh was uncoordinated.Being discharged from hospital a month later,Jireh has since relied on this avenue of intake.

Her family have been in touch with a specialist in Germany who has agreed to see Jireh in september this year to help her eat and not have to rely on the feeding pump every 3hours.Markus Wilken, from Austria,specializes in 'tube weaning' and has worked with hundreds of children including 2 from Nz recently.

The total estimated cost for this process is approximately $15.000 NZD.There are a few families throughout Nz and Australia trying to get government support so that the financial burden is lifted from families who want their child/ren to eat 'normally'. You are so GORGEOUS BABY JIREH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baby Jireh Race to taste!!!!!!!!!

Baby Jireh!!! Race to taste!!!!

Baby Jireh was born deaf.Last year they raised 50k for baby Jireh to get a cochler implant!!!! This year we are trying to raise 15k for Baby Jirehs rase to taste. So far they have raised 900o.6000 more then she will be able to eat instead of having to put a tube down her nose to go through to her stomach.Baby Jireh cannot see out of her left eye.Tomorrow we are doing a fundraiser for Baby Jireh at the lighthouse in petone because we are watching Monsters university!!! The doctors said that baby Jireh wouldnt be able to walk but she is starting to make a few steps which is great.Baby Jireh cant really talk either, all she can say is mum or dad.Jireh used to do sign language to communicate with her parents but now that she knows what sounds are she is starting to talk.Baby Jireh is 2 years old,and as you can see by the pics above she is totally adorable!
